Dr. Der earned her MD at McMaster University after completing degrees in BSc(Hon) Biology and MSc in Physiology and Pharmacology. She completed 2 years of paediatric residency prior to becoming an anesthesiologist. After her paediatric anesthesia fellowship, she remained at Sickkids where she has been on staff for 18 years. Her interests include paediatric anesthesia with a focus on neurosurgical and craniofacial surgeries.
