Nitrous Oxide (also known as “laughing gas”): safe and effective way to calm one’s nerves. If a child can breathe in through their nose then nitrous oxide may help them.
Oral sedation: an oral pre-medication can sometimes help a child to relax and remain calm enough to have dental treatment completed over a short period of time.
General Anesthesia: is performed when dental treatment cannot otherwise be completed safely, due to either the length of the treatment or the child’s inability to tolerate treatment. Our pediatric anesthesiologists have over 20 years of experience each and will make sure your child is comfortable for dental treatment.
